What’s Keenwa?
It’s the name we chose for our agency because it’s a more fun thing to call your business than something like Qualcom or NBC. Obviously a play on the word quinoa, and as a plus, much easier to spell.
What do we do at Keenwa? We help health, wellness, and medical businesses rank higher in Google so that they can get noticed by potential customers.
How? By getting them links from other great websites in their industry.
More backlinks pointing to their site means Google trusts their site more and puts it higher up in the search results—which leads to people finding their business.
We get these links from sites we either own ourselves or have partnerships with.

What types of businesses do we help? Anything from personal trainers, supplement brands, dental and medical practices, nursing schools, therapists, nutrition software, and health startups.

SEO

You’re at a huge party. There are a hundred people, and you’re trying to find someone to answer a specific question you have, but of course, there’s no list or guide to help you out. You’ll probably end up asking around to find the right person, right? That’s how search engines like Google work when they’re trying to find the best websites to show people.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is like the map or directions that help Google find and recommend the best websites to people when they search for something. The goal of SEO for businesses is to make sure their website is easy for Google to find, so when someone types in a question or topic (“Dry cleaning near me”), their site shows up in the search results— as close to the top as possible.
The higher a site ranks, the more people will click on it and check it out. Rank order is so important in fact, that the number #1 result on Google search gets on average 2x the clicks as the #2.
Backlinks

Okay, so let’s talk about backlinks. Imagine you’re at that party again, and you’re talking to someone who’s super popular. People keep coming up to them for advice or to say hi because they trust them. Now, let’s say that the popular person gives you a shout-out in front of the crowd—suddenly, a bunch of people want to talk to you too.
Backlinks work in a similar way. A backlink is when one website links to another, like a vote of confidence. When a trusted site links to yours, Google sees that as a signal that your site is also trustworthy and valuable.
The more quality backlinks you have, the more Google trusts your website, and the higher you can rank in search results.
Why backlinks matter
Backlinks are the main way Google’s algorithm knows which sites to rank at the top of a search. They can’t read and judge for themselves the trillions of pages on the internet, so when a respected website links to yours, the algorithm reads it as saying, “Hey, check this out. This site is great!”
And just like word of mouth works better when it’s coming from people you trust, backlinks work better when they come from trusted, high-quality websites.
If a big name in your industry links to you, Google takes that seriously, and it boosts your website’s credibility and search ranking (A link from the New York Times or IRS.gov would be super powerful, a link from your local small town burger joint less so).
Where we come in
This is where we come in. Businesses want those quality backlinks, but they don’t always know where to get them or how to make it happen. We have both own and have connections with websites that are already trusted by Google and have a strong reputation.
When businesses need more customers (they all do?), they pay us to help them get backlinks from these high-authority sites. We place links to their websites in well-written articles on these trusted websites, helping the business rank higher in search results, get more traffic, and make more $$$.

We help businesses get found
Really, what we do is help businesses in the health, wellness, fitness, and medical industries get found by people who could find their product or service helpful.
